Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Blue Moon Release in May 1

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Blue Moon is one member of the AJ 1 quartet, the latest incarnation of the iconic silhouette. As Air Jordan devotees know, the OG designation promises that the shoe will feature the legendary Nike branding on the tongue. A key player in the Jordan brand’s Spring 2018 lineup, this Best Hand in the Game collection honors Jordan’s achievements during his reign on the court. We first got a glimpse of the shoes when Nike unveiled them on April 19, 2018. All four of the Retro High OG kicks start with a palette of suede, leather, and the traditional black toe blocking, but each differentiates itself in a colorway that signifies one of the numerous milestones in Prince Michael’s career. The Blue Moon commemorates his remarkable 14 straight appearances in the NBA’s All Star Games, three of which earned him the MVP award. The color Blue Moon is slightly paler than royal blue, and is used in the soft nubuck leather of the side panel swoosh, the tongue, the heel counter, and the rubber of the outsole, setting them apart from the contrasting smooth leather panels of summit white and midnight black and the white rubber mid sole.

As for promised performance:

the leather construction is designed to provide comfort and durability
the encapsulated Air of the rubber cupsole is intended for lightweight cushioning
the deep flex grooves and pivot points of the rubber treads are strategically placed to provide flexibility and traction

According to the latest Nike update, issued on April 23, we are looking at a release date of May 1, 2018 with a retail price of $160 USD.
